A struggling JROTC cadet must overcome team fractures and personal insecurities to lead his squad to redemption before a pivotal competition.

In "SQUAD," a young JROTC cadet, Lucius Wright, battles self-doubt, team pressures, and a tumultuous home life as he is thrust into a leadership role following the sudden breakdown of his team’s commander, Adam. Amid intense drill practices, fractured friendships, and a strained relationship with his father, Lucius grapples with feelings of inadequacy and isolation. As he tries to rebuild his squad’s cohesion, he must also navigate the weight of expectations, culminating in a tense encounter with Adam that forces both to confront their struggles. In the end, Lucius finds solace in his squadmates and learns that leadership is as much about vulnerability as it is about strength. Set in the high-stakes world of JROTC, "SQUAD" is a poignant coming-of-age story that explores themes of resilience, camaraderie, and self-worth.
